Guess what everyone? The Doghouse Diva's have teamed up with the design team over at the Ribbon Carousel, to give you some super inspiring projects! I LOVE ribbon, and have personally ordered from the Ribbon carousel and LOVE their products, packaging, and so much more! I was super excited about this blog hop, and wanted to create a fun school project with LOTS of ribbon! Of course, running daycare, there are countless things I could make, but once I saw the cute little unaltered paint can I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it! Yes- a CRAYON holder! My kids are fighting over it now, and I might just have to make two more. They all love that you can carry it around, and who doesn't love the ribbon on the handle?
I used Nikki Sivils- School is Cool line to cover up most of the paint can, but left a bit so you could get a glimpse of the colourful crayons! I added some of the ruler ribbon at the bottom of the can, and then tie ribbons around the handle. Here is the project:
