The start of October means a brand new Sketch Challenge with Canadian Scrapbooker! The sketch this month is fantastic, and I couldn't resist to get started on it! Here is my layout:
I have been itching to dive into the Simple Stories Collection: Harvest Lane! The paper and embellishments are so super cute! Here is a close up of the overlay I used:
Instead of using a 4 X 6 photo, I decided to make a little scene with some of the stickers in this collection. I added the tree underneath the overlay, and then added the hearts by popping them up on the overlay to give it some dimension. I also added some photo corners punched out and adhered to the corners of the overlay.
I love to layer, so here is close up with some of the layering I did for embellishing this page with the cute Simple Stories Stickers (I especially love the little bird peeking out from the house!):
I cut out part of a journalling spot and added some element stickers. I cut part of the tree off so it fit against the right side of the page. Never be afraid to cut up your stickers!
Finally for my title, I used the stickers but layered with a Magenta Chipboard tab! It worked perfect with some Simple Stories Element Stickers!
Supplies Used:
Simple Stories: Harvest Lane Collection
Magenta Chipboard
Buttons and Raffia- Unknown
Stampin' Up! Photo Corner Punch
Stampin' Up! Marker
I hope you come on over and play along with the Sketch for the month! I loved it! Here is the awesome sketch:
