Lots to SHARE!

Hi everyone!

Well it was a busy, "SICK" weekend for us! Just as my son got over the flu, my daughter came down with it too, so we were pretty much house bound, with a bucket in our hand. The only good thing about being house bound, means some more scrappy time for me! I got to finish playing with my SCRAP THAT Design Team kit... and it is AWESOME... I was a little nervous at first, because I usually scrap in very bright colours, but it was SO fun to scrap with some soft and pretty colours... So here are the other two LO's I did:

A close up:

For those of you that don't know... my sister died in a car accident almost two years ago... She was also deaf... and struggled in school... but was determined to become a teacher! She was in college from 1992-2001... and she finally became a teacher...

Here is what the journalling reads:

Everyone was so proud of you the day you finally graduated, but I don't think anyone was as proud as you were! It was a long journey to achieve what you did, and you leaped over boundaries and obstacles to achieve your dream. In 2001, you finally became a teacher of the Deaf. Your hard work an determination is what made your dream come true. You are an inspiration to me and my kids. Whenever things are tough in school for them... I have the story of Tammy to prove to them that nothing is impossible, and only you can make your dreams come true.

My next Lo is of my other sister CINDY on her wedding day:

Finally... the yucky card part... BUT... I LOVED doing cards this month... for some reason the ideas came really quickly for me... and I loved the end result! I especially LOVED the butterfly! So here they are:

I also got another LO done for the NOOK's Sketch contest and I also played in the Scrapbook Dreamer Crop too! Here is what I did using the PAGE MAPS JULY SKETCH...

I also finished my Buttefly Crafts design team assignment... but you will have to wait and see for that one until the 1st.... See ya tomorrow!
