Imaginisce and Magnet Daddies!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE INSPIRATION ELEVATOR BLOG HOP-----  GO HERE

This week on the Imaginisce blog we are featuring the amazing tool- the i-top! This is now one of my FAVORITE tools! I absolutely adore all the fun things you can make with it, and this week I was challenged to make something with the Magnet Daddies.  Here is what I created:

I took a Maya Road Chipboard lunch box and decided to alter, and use it as a cute photo box to store photos, and display some summer photos too.  One side of the box, you can use the magnet daddies to change the pictures up anytime you want:

I even added some magnets to the back of the Endless Summer Diecuts so I can mix it up or just have the die cuts by themselves:

You also store the the magnets on the side:

And of course store all your die cuts and summer photos inside:

Be sure to take a peek on the Imaginisce Blog for more inspiration AND check out the details for the giveaway this week!

Inspiration Elevator Reveal!

You may recall that the purpose of this challenge group is to take our scrapbooking to the next level, to stretch our creative process and to grow as artists by embracing challenges that make us think, work and grow. You can view all of the challenges on my blog by clicking here or check our our new Inspiration Elevator Blog, here.

This month, our challenge comes from the talented Laura Whitaker. Laura's challenge, in her own words, is as follows:

"As we welcome spring, scrap something to do with a new beginning, it could be an opportunity, a relationship, or even the world's reawakening after it's long winter's nap. Don't forget to journal and describe why you have chosen your topic."

We would also like to welcome our May Guest Designer, Denise Morrison. Her arsty, eclectic style inspires her followers to see how "Life is Yummy" at her blog!

I hope you will stop by and see what our designers on this adventure have created:

SO.... for this challenge it usually would be REALLY hard for me to think of something for a new beginning, BUT this time around, I have to say was bit on the simple side, since many of my blog followers know I am MOVING very shortly, and it will be a HUGE new beginning starting in a new smaller town, switching my kids in school, getting the daycare up and running.  NEW routines, NEW town, NEW house... phew, an absolute new beginning for me and my family!  Here is the layout I created about our new beginning:

I used some Teresa Collins Memories Collection and some pieces from my Scraptastic Kit- Awake my Soul Kit.  To challenge myself, I wanted to focus on the journaling, and I thought what would bring the layout together....I decided to add a library folder and place the new house picture on top but journaled inside:

Yes, that is some empty space there, because I want to fill it with some moving photos (my husband doesn't think I will have "time" to take photos... but a few quick shots will make this layout complete!)  Some other detail shots:

Yes that is our moving date!
Thanks so much for the AWESOME Challenge Laura!!! AND... the best thing is I AM GOING TO BE OFFERING A RAK!! I am going to put together a little PROJECT LIFE KIT for one lucky person!!! I have been collecting again, and I don't want to have MOVE it to the new house, so become a follower of my blog and leave a comment and a this PL kit could be yours! There's stamps, Pretty Little Studios, Elle's Studio, Ribbon, October Afternoon and soooo much more!!! You have until May 22nd!  Good Luck!!!

Here is the Kit, with more going in it all the time!

Tutti Fruitti, Mommy's Cutie!

We all know who that is, right???  All my kids are super cute (well Jordan would argue that she is not cute anymore, because she is getting older...but...)  Taylor pulls these crazy cutie faces, and loves to ham it up for the camera! I couldn't resist pairing these fun pictures up with the new collection by Doodlebug: Fruit Stand.

On the Doodlebug Blog today, there is a spotlight on why I love being a mom :)  so be sure to check it out!  Here is my layout:

And some detailed shots:

So did you all have a great mothers day?  I know I did!  It was freezing here, so we opted to stay home, which meant a whole day of scrapping for me!
