Momenta and The Alley Way Stamps

Hi everyone! We are still battling the sickies... well Taylor is... poor little thing, she has hardly eaten anything since Sunday. She slept for 3 hours today, so I keep thinking she has GOT to be fine soon!...

I have been busy creating some cards! I love when I get into a groove! Last month I won one stamp set from the Alley Way Stamps, and I love the cuteness of ALL her stamps, so of course I had a order a few...  I thought the stamps sets would work perfect with the happy, bright, and fun colours of MOMENTA!  Here are a few cards I created:

I did a little bit of paper piecing and some colouring in! Thanks for letting me share today! Be sure to check out Momenta basis, as the DT has been blowing me away with their awesome inspiration! Also, a big shout out to THE ALLEY WAY STAMPS! Thanks so much for the free stamp last month! Head over to their blog (actually their facebook page, since they are preparing for their big reveal and their blog is down at the moment) for your chance to win some cute stamps that are being released tomorrow!

Ruby Rock-it Love

Hi everyone! This month was Free for All February on the RUBY ROCK-IT BLOG, and since it was Valentines Day this month, I focused on the theme of Love and Friendship.  For my two blog posts, I had a few projects to share... Here they are:

My daughter and her "boyfriend"Seth.  I used the Paperdoll Collection... I LOVE this collection!  Here is the card I also made with this collection:

I added the rub-on from the Fundamentals! Love these for card making!

Then I ventured into the wedding line!  Here is the layout that went to CHA:

And a close up:

And another layout I did with this line:

And a close up of the cute bride and groom:

You can also never have enough cards:

Thanks for letting me share my Ruby Rock-it Projects for the month! We have been battling the FLU once again, so the daycare has been closed! We were fine all weekend, but at 11 pm on Sunday night, Taylor got sick... and two days later, is HOPEFULLY coming around the bend now!

This weekend we went for a winter walk (before the sickness!)... here are some of my favorite shots:

(yes... ducks walking on ice!)

Be sure to check the Ruby Rock-it Blog later this week, as there will be lots of FUN announcements!

Daycare Fun

This past week we have done a lot of FUN things in the daycare.... We painted with our feet, and the kids danced around... they loved it:

We also painted with chocolate for Valentines day:

And we played pin the chocolate on the heart:

On Tuesday was PANCAKE day, and we based all our activities around PANCAKES. We read if you give a pig a pancake and made cute little piggy pancakes:

Thanks for letting me share some daycare pics today!

Card Frenzy!

Hi Everyone! Don't you just LOVE it when you start creating and everything just comes together so easily! I made six cards from my design team kit from my LSS: The Scrapping Nook this month! I just love this Celebrate line by Authentique. Here they are:

Scrapping Nook/Authentique Sketch

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous long weekend! We have had a blast this weekend, but first before I get into that, I want to share with you a layout I did for my LSS: The Scrapping Nook. I was lucky enough to get the paper line: CELEBRATE from AUTHENIQUE... and I LOVE the colours in this collection!  I already did a layout using their sketch this month, and loved the sketch so much, I did another layout, and FLIPPED the sketch.  You can see the sketch: HERE.  I moved the group of photos over more, and went with the banner theme (LOVE the banners on this page!) I had a double sheet, so I cut out some of the banners and added them onto the sheet.  Here is the layout:

Here is a close up of the flowers:

The two larger flowers were fussy cut, and the smaller ones were from the sticker sheet.

I did lots of creating this weekend, and CAN'T wait to share them with you!  This weekend my mom flew in from Florida, so we tried to stay busy with the typical activities. Today was FAMILY day, a "new holiday" for us Canadians, so we spent it at an indoor carnival in Niagara Falls, where we did lots of fun things like bumper cars, wall climbing, trains and more! Here are some of my favorite photos:

Yes that is Jordan rock climbing! She must have went to the top and back down at least a dozen times! She was super-spidey girl!
Taylor was still feeling a little under the weather (can't tell from this photo!)... but loved every ride we went on with her, especially the BIG slide and trains!
 Jordan and some silly clowns!
Jordan going face first down a bouncy castle slide!

Finally Jordan has been working really hard on her first BIG research project. She was getting a little frustrated by the end, but for the most part, I think she enjoyed doing it!  Here is her with her "fun"part of the project she says:

A little Valentines Love in the Daycare!

We had so much fun this week in the daycare! Our Valentines Party was great and the kids loved everything we did! I thought I would share with you and the daycare parents some photos:

I set the kids up for a picture, but Lauren seemed more interested in the "BABY, BABY" music that was playing (is mom surprised?)...

Here they are playing musical chairs! I just love Lily's smile in the back!

Another Lily picture... her smirk is priceless!
Taylor getting kissed by her best friend Tessa!

And some pictures of sweet Taylor:

Today we painted with our feet.... yes I was very brave, but the kids loved dancing around on the floor painting!

Some FUN scrappy news! I got THREE boxes from NIKKI SIVILS, PRETTY LITTLE STUDIOS, AND RUBY ROCK-IT yesterday and today!!  So guess, where I will be tonight?  Playing in my scrap room :).... after X-fitness Bootcamp though!
