Are you a PLANNER?
So have you jumped on board the "planner" trend recently? This year creative planning has really taken off, and I am slowly getting use to it! I started my downloading planner sheets that I can print out when I need them! Now I am thinking I might need something more concreate as I REALLY like the whole idea of creative planning... especially since I don't have a huge chunk of time to be creative like I use to, and this combines me organizing my week AND creative time all in one!
So I have been super excited EACH month to have the STAMPS OF LIFE release new planner stamps and dies! YIPPEE! Yes I was super excited! This past month I received the highlighters4planner set, and LOVED it... I wanted to show how it works perfectly for cardmakers and planners (even scrapbookers!) this set is so versatile.... you will LOVE it!
Here is the card I made:
I love how this card turned out! I also used the die: HELLO! I love the font on this die set!
Of course I did a "mock" planner page too, for you to see how to use the stamp in a planner:
Are you ready to see the stamp set:
So many possibilities for this stamp set! I LOVE it! You should see what other design team members have created! SO inspiring! Go take a look at the gallery HERE!

Kids Craftin' with the Stamps of life
Hi everyone! I was cruising through my blog and instagram and realized I didn't post about how to make your stamps into crafts for your kids! I am going to try and make this a monthly feature for my blog readers and hopefully some of you will be able to get some fun ideas to use your stamps in different ways and to fight that summer boredom!
We made this craft during our "pet" week in the daycare! It uses one of my favourite stamp sets so far: cat2stamp ! I love to use Stephanie's designs, especially the bigger stamps to create fun projects for my kids in the daycare! This craft we did awhile back, but you will get the idea
First step is stamp the image on a white sheet of paper in the top left hand corner.
Next is to place it on your printer/copier and change the settings to increase it so it fits the page. You may have to print a few times, changing the % increase in order to get the size that works! I then take the larger image and photocopy it enough times for the kids in the daycare (be sure to use cardstock if you are going to paint on it!).
Next up, is to get the kids to paint them! We chose a brown colour to paint today!
Once it is dry, you can cut them out for the kids, or for the older kids, they can cut them out!
Finally you can add the details to the craft! You can choose whatever you what! For this craft, we used googly eyes, puffy paint, stickles, and white yarn! So fun!
So even the kids can have sun with the Stamps of Life! Here is another craft we did with the whale2stamp set:
Same applied to this craft! But we added eyes and a cute smile! They are so cute!!
Hope to bring you another Kids craft next month with the Stamps of Life! Enjoy your crafting time!

Are you a planner.... with the Stamps of Life!
Another Reveal, I am super excited about sharing! First off... did you jump on the "crafty" planner trend? I LOVED this idea because with my crafty time cut back, this was a chance for me to get crafty and organized in my hectic life all at the same time! I really did "squeal with delight" when Stephanie Barnard from the Stamps of Life announced that she was doing PLANNER stamps... thats right.... PLANNER stamps... so super exciting! I really just started "crafty planning" when she announced it... and yes I am very much a beginner in this crafty planner world of ours...
For the reveal I sent in a "mock" page... but something that I would typically do in my planner! I didn't buy a planner outright, because I wasn't sure it was something I would keep up with, and wanted to see what I liked in the meantime. So I downloaded and printed the RAINBOW PLANNER on a Bowl full of Lemons (yes I love this site!). I typically use a two page spread calendar to keep up to date of what is going on, but I like to do a day-to-day page too! I love that its big 8 1/2 X 11, because it gives me plenty of space to "create" on! Here is my page I created using the plannerstamps4KJ stamps set!
You might think it's a lot of work, but really it didn't take me too long to make at all! I always start by adding the stamps... AND YES THERE IS A LOT ON THIS STAMP SET!!
I keep my inks on hand and stamp away in the colours I want to use for this page! Once the stamping is done from this set... I add any additional writing in fun, bright colours of course!
Yep I like to stamp! For this planner it gives me a time schedule for the day, so I like to fill it up as much as possible! Next up I keep "extras" of stamps/dies that might not have worked on my cards/projects for my planner! This way, I can still use them! here I used the crazy4daisies extras that I had!
Finally I picked a few other stamp sets that "worked" for my planner... including: spinner2stamp, tictactoe2play, postage2stamp, and camera2stamp... and all of them can be found at the Stamps Of Life store!
I then added some washi tape and other fun things to finish it up:
So exciting to be crafty and organized all in one, don't you think!?

A new month and a REVEAL!
Here are some close-ups of these two that I created (I made even more cards that I will reveal later too!) My photos are not the best this month... so I apologize, I did them super quick as I had to quickly create after my mom passed away, so they are not the best photos, but you will get the idea!
For this card I made my own card pattern on the front and then on the inside and used the Sizzix Scallop and circle dies to create a window.
Inside the card I added another Scalloped die and stamped three hearts. Of course I added the cute little piggy using The Stamps of Life pink felt!
The next card I am going to reveal is a stand up card!
These cards are so easy to make and I love that by using the dies you can flip the piggies so they are facing each other! I made a girl and boy piggy... so cute, right?
I have made THREE more cards, but I don't want to ruin all the fun! Did you know Stephanie Bernard makes SUPER fun videos too that you can watch to get even more ideas for all her stamps and die sets: PIGGYBANK2STAMP VIDEO
Now for some photo of my kiddos!
