Also be sure and leave comments along your way on each of our DTs. blogs and especially on the Best Creation blog at the end of the hop. Be sure and check out www.bestcreationinc.blogspot.com for the list of prizes you are going to win.
And now onto my Flower Power Project! I had so much fun creating this, and it is so simple and easy to do!
Here is what I created:
Isn't my little Taylor the cutest! Here is the close up of my SCALLOPED PUNCHED FLOWER:
These are so simple and easy to make... here is a little tutorial for you:
Gather your materials:
Materials needed: Scalloped punch, scrap sheet of paper, ink, twine or button rope, glue, scissors, button, and a small paint brush or skewer (for rolling the petals).
Step One: Punch out the flower, and cut into the centre on every two scallops:
Step Two: Push down in the centre of the flower and ink around them if desired.
Step Three:
Roll the petals back with the paintbrush. Push down in the centre of the flower with your thumb again. Thread a knot with some twine through your button.
Step four: Attach button to your flower.... and voila!
You can also change the flower centre with rosettes or stickers or layer them with circles.... the possibilities are endless!
You have probably arrived from Liz's blog.... and from here you are off to the super talented Kim Holmses Blog! Have fun hopping....
