How would you like to learn how to create a fun Mini Book out of one 12x12 and be inspired to make 20 different versions of it?
Well get ready to hop- because today on each of our blogs we will share with you some fun and creative ideas to make the simple book we made at the CHA Winter Show.
It took me awhile to decide what theme I should do, but once I thought of the relationship between my oldest daugther Jordan and her baby sister, Taylor... I was so excited to finally document it! I decided to use a mix of papers from the Bella, Bella line and the new Jubilee line! I LOVE these lines, they scream fun to me, and it helps that my daughter Jordan helped me pick what paper was her favorite... hehehe! So here is the start:
I decided to stagger my pages by cutting them one at- 4 X 12"; page two at- 4 X 11" and page three at 4 X 10" By doing this I was able to add some cute tabs! Some tabs were from the jubilee collection, and some were scraps of blue ribbon. I used Helmer Glue... which is AWESOME stuff... to make sure those ribbons don't go anywhere, especially for little hands that LOVE tags.! hehe!
Here is my next page:
Yes, that is my HUGE big belly, two weeks before having Taylor! I used the "bubbles" from the Jubilee line to journal what my daughter was thinking (I am so excited to have a baby sister! I can't wait to teach you!).. Yes my daughter is natural "leader" or little miss bossy, but it works in our family!
Here is the next page:
These pictures were taken during the first couple of days after Taylor was born... Jordan couldn't get enough of her, and was so proud!
Next page:
Some of my favorite pics!! The ribbon in the middle is how I binded my mini all together... it adds a nice little touch in the middle page!
Next Page:
I loved this journalling card in Jubilee collection"Growing Closer Together"... I couldn't agree more!!!
Last Page:
These are the most recent pictures I have of my two girly girls! Gosh I love them... and these papers are so cute and bright to go with the whole sister "love" theme! The memories journalling spot is a Hidden tag, which I jotted down some favorite memories of them... my most favorite is Jordan trying to teach Taylor how to colour when she could hardly hold a crayon... too funny!
So this mini is all so easy... and Jordan loved it so much, she made one too from her scrappy bin... She insisted on drawing all her own pictures though!
