Cards for Kids Fundraiser

I am so super proud of my daughter, Jordan.  Over the past couple of weeks, Jordan has been dreaming up ways to raise money for FREE THE CHILDREN.  She was learning about how kids in other countries didn't have much, and were sent to work in carpet factories at a very young age, and this is when she decided to try and help.  We researched, and found the charitable organization called:

She came up with the idea of selling crafts and cards (I am great at making cards, but terrible at sending them, so I have collected quite a few over the years).  Her little fundraiser has now been called CARDS FOR KIDS.  She had her first day of selling her cards with her two of her friends at her school, and she has raised over $50. She is over the moon happy, and now has decided to set her goal even higher.  She believes she can make a difference, and I think that is pretty spectacular for an 8 year old.  She is hoping to start selling some cards online soon too (most likely through facebook), so stay tuned as we dream up a plan to sell cards for a great cards- please come like our facebook page).  Here are some samples of the cards:

She is creating a little office in her room, and wants to create some cards herself tonight too... can I tell you how super proud of her I am... She even asked if Santa Claus could donate to free the children :)....  Until next time.....
