Banner Challenge with Bo Bunny! (and a tutorial!)

It has been a LONG time since I have scrapbooked a page just for me- no design team, no commitments, and Bo Bunny posted a Banner Challenge on their blog yesterday, and I couldn't resist (especially since I just unpacked a WHOLE pile of Bo Bunny products!)....  I went with an older line because I absolutely LOVE the colours from this fun line-Ad Lib!  Here is the layout that I created with A LOT of banners!

And today is a special day, because I have a tutorial planned for you to recreate your own border banner layout/project!

For my layout, I used a Papertrey Ink Die that cuts three banners out at one time. I used 6 different Ad Lib papers to bring out as much colour as I could on this layout. I cut out LOTS from each pattern paper:

Net up I arranged the banners with five at the top and bottom, and seven on each side with one in each corner, I then overlapped them again, but didn't add a second banner to each of the corners:

Next up, I cut out a 6 X 8 1/2 out of the yellow patterned paper in the Ad Lib Collection.  I then added some trim from the Ad Lib collection- and wrapped it around the yellow paper, and then again added some yellow tulle from this collection, tied with a bow.

I then slipped a 4 X 6 photo just so the yellow tulle bow was on top:

I adhered this to the centre of my banners that I created, and then added some chipboard, stickers, layered stickers, title and more to finish off the layout:
