Canadian Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge

Good Morning Blog Readers! Is everyone getting excited for CHA coming up??! I know I am! I love seeing all the neat and new collections and products coming out! I am sure I will have a must have list!

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I created based on the Sketchy Challenge this month with Canadian Scrapbooker!  I found this photo when I was unpacking at the new house, and knew I wanted to scrap it.  The photo is of my son and my best friends daughter.  I remember taking this photo because it was in the beginning months of when I opened the daycare.  Now the two kiddos are 6 and 7! Hard to believe!!! Here is the layout:

Supplies Used: Patterned Paper, Little Letters, Die Cuts, Burlap Flowers- Pink Paislee; Doilies: Bo Bunny; Large Letters: American Crafts; Button; A little bit of Whimsy; Marker: Sharpie; Adhesive:  Scrapbook Adhesive EZ Runner by 3L, Best Creation Foam Tape

Here are some detailed shots:

I love all the diecuts in this Pink Paislee Collection- Cottage Farms!
The doilies (Bo Bunny)  under the photo were cut up into small pieces and staggered to make a border.
Love these burlap flowers by Pink Paislee too! But they were too big for the spot that I wanted to use them for, so I cut a few layers off to make the flower fit on my page.

I tuck one of the burlap flowers under the photo and placed the smaller one on top.

Here is the Sketchy Challenge Sketch that I used for this months Challenge:

You still have time to play along too! There is lots of inspiration in the gallery: HERE! Be sure to play along!
