Sketchy Challenge with Canadian Scrapbooker

Its almost the end of the month, and I finally had a chance to play with the awesome Canadian Scrapbooker sketch (once again!) by Sue Sykes! I decided to flip the sketch to work with my photo, and decided with the earthy toned collection by Kaisercraft (LOVE THIS!!!)

The die cut package had these very cute medallions that I cut in half and fit perfectly at the bottom of my layout to use as a scalloped border.

I layered a lot of stickers, die cuts and even broke off some wood veneers:

For the title, I added some splats of ink from Color Box Spray Ink by Stephanie Barnard, and of course layered it in a die cut polaroid frame:

So have you had a chance to play this month?  Be sure to upload your creation using this sketch:

You might just get an opportunity to get published!! Good Luck everyone!  Head on over to the gallery to upload: HERE!

Love this layout. The earthy papers were a great choice and the layers and embellishments look amazing.
