Little Red Wagon #240 Food For Thought!

Happy Hump Day! Its finally Wednesday, and today's challenge over at Little Red Wagon is all about FOOD! I was so excited for this challenge because I have so many cute stamps that I couldn't wait to try out... Of course I forgot that I didn't do the card yet, until I saw my girlfriends post! EKKK!!! Lunch time madness as the kids napped I whipped up a card to share, with one of my favorite stamp companies: The Alleyway Stamps... and I used some Paper from Imaginisce!

Super cute, right? I love how the Imagnisce papers totally went with the whole Jam theme!  Make sure you head on over to the Little Red Wagon's Challenge Blog and link up your creation! Also don't forget to check out the girlfriends blogs! Some amazing creations this week!

Little Red Wagon #222

Welcome back Wednesday! Time to show you what I created for todays challenge at the Little Red Wagon!  Today's Challenge was to create a card... for a child! LOVED this challenge... yep finally found one to be easy... the hardest part was decided what paper that I have been hoarding for years that I was going to cut up! lol! I decided on a very old, but very fun Bella Blvd line:

Do you remember this line?  I LOVED this dinosaur! So I used The Alley Way Stamps: Framed, to create the framed on the layout.. I layered then with lots of fun elements and then stamped the speech bubble (also The Alley Way Stamps).  Here's another view:

Hope you have time to play along with use this month! Come on over to the Little Red Wagon Blog for all the details!

Little Red Wagon #221

Well it's Wednesday, which means its reveal day for the Little Red Wagon.  So today's challenge was a hard one for me (I think all of them are! lol!)... A clean and simple card should be easy, but for me I love to add and add, and keep on adding... I love LOTS of thinks on my crafty projects so for me this was hard... and I actually created a few cards, until I settled on this one:

I know... it is VERY simple! But I actually REALLY like it! I think the fact that the Core'dinations Spotted Cardstock adds just enough textures. Plus I am sucker for bright and fun colours!

I stamped the sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps on Vellum, and added it to the bottom right hand corner!

I hope you have time to play along with us at The Little Red Wagon... Come on over to see more inspiration from the Design Team:HERE>

Emboss it!

So I decided to play along with a challenge... yep! I really am trying to get into this whole card making thing again! I really do miss it...so the best thing to do is jump in on some challenges, right?  Simon Says Stamps has a challenge on their blog yesterday about embossing!

I jumped into the challenge and used my Sizzix Embossing folder and added some distress ink to it then embossed it on the vellum. I wanted to get an ocean like background, and I think I did pretty good! I matched it up with The Alley Way Stamps blowfish and sentiment! I love the stamp set, and yes it has been sitting in my collection for over a year... yep guillty once again of not stamping and cardmaking! So here is the card:

Little Red Wagon #220

Hi everyone! It's Wednesday, which means its time for other little Red Wagon Challenge! This challenge was difficult for me, because I have to say I am not a fan of "purple"! Going through my stash, I realized how very little purple I actually have! The challenge this week was to create a card using the pantone colour of the year: Orchid (insert a big gulp here from me!)... so I played with what I did have! ONE purple Copic, twine, washi tape, ribbon, and stickles! Here is what I came up with:

I used a stamp from The Alley Way Stamps and colored in the butterfuly. I then used the twine and sewed a butterfly trail to end up with word enjoy.  I sewed some ribbon over top of the washi tape. and I even made a washi tape border.

We would love for you to come an play along with us too! Head on over to the Little Red Wagon for all the Inspiration!

WCD is coming!

This weekend brings card makers all around the world together!!
What better way to bond & create beautiful projects.

This day came about because of Paper Crafts magazine. They started this day up because this time of year happens to be the busiest for all cardmakers - getting ready for the holidays. Imaginsce decided to give a sneak peak of what is to come tomorrow! One of my cards is up on the blog today:

I used a Snag'em stamp to create a background on a piece of cardstock in black ink, and then topped it with a fussy cut polaroid camera. I also placed a punched out heart in the polaroid of each camera! (Sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps!)

So are you getting your crafty cardness on this weekend?

Be sure to check out the Imaginisce Blog for lots of inspiration tomorrow!
