GYSO #16 & some PRACTICAL SCRAPPERS

Happy Monday Morning everyone!?

Anyone wonder where I have been? It has been a BRUTAL 2 weeks in our household. It all started with me getting Strep Throat, almost 2 weeks ago! I got some antibiotics and was lucky enough to go to Scrap Fest for the day with my friend Heather, and baby Taylor. We had a blast and I bought lots of fun goodies! I bought every new line by Nikki Sivils..., some Hometown Summer by Pink Paislee; and some Bella Blvd. Taylor was soooooo great there, and for the trip there and home. That night though was another story. Her eye was gooping, and boy was she fussy. I thought it was just pink eye, but we took her to the doctor and it was an upper respritory infection. Poor wee thing. She was now on antibiotics. By Wednesday last week she seemed to be on the mend until lunch time, and then the projectile vomitting started... and didn't end for 24 hours. Its not right to see your 9month old throwing up over 20 times.... and then I got sick.... and then Josh got sick, and then my husband got sick... and then finally Jordan got sick Sunday late morning. So this has to be it, right? PLEASE!! I can't take any more sick days! Here is a picture of my husband after work on Friday when he was coming down with the flu, and Josh was on the mend (i'm sure he will kill me for posting this picture, but I think its cute!):

Now on to some scrappy news!!! Today is the reveal at GET YOUR SKETCH ON! Today we posted Sketch #16, made by yours truely.... here is the sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

Don't you just LOVE the glitter paper on this! All the paper is from Best Creations, and I love all the sparkles and how it resembles the heart on your hip hop costume! Here is a close up of the hearts:

The layout is of my niece, Kayden... In this picture she was only 6 years old (last year!).... she is an AMAZING dancer, and I'm not just saying that because she is my niece! She's recently auditioning for commercials now... she has audition today, so wish her LUCK!

So I would LOVE to see your take on the sketch! All you have to do is link up your layout to Mr. Linky on the GET YOUR SKETCH ON BLOG! We will be picking on lucky crafter to be part of our design team this May, so go get crafty!

Finally some BIG NEWS!!!
