Hi Scrappy Friends! It's been quiet on here, but that doesn't mean I haven't been creating! It has been a busy couple of weeks getting Christmas projects done, and of course decorating at home! At my local store, The Scrapping Nook- we are having a 12 days of Christmas Inspiration Party on the Message board! I have created a lot of Christmas Projects this year, so of course I volunteered! Today I shared THREE things! Firstly, in the daycare we are making some ornaments to go on our Christmas trees here. So the kids made these Cute Ornaments (these are also done by 18 months and up... put PLEASE supervise the young ones!)
Here are some simple step by step instructions on how to make these cute and easy ornaments:
Gather Supplies: Empty plastic ornaments, colored paper shreds, Snow glitter (or glitter), Washi Tape, Alpha Stickers and flair badges (or other Christmas Stickers).
Next up... STUFF away! The younger kids may need help poking the paper shreds in but for the most part they did really well! For the Glitter, you can use a funnel to help get the glitter in the ornament with less mess!
You should try and stuff it as much as you want:
Next up, wrap the washi tape around the ornament. I helped the kids with this, and it is very forgiving, so if it doesn't go on straight for them the first time, you can always try again!
Such a cute project! I can't wait to have them hanging on the tree!
Also! Do you remember the advent calendar I made:
