Where have I been???

Me bad :(... yes I have neglected my blog over the last week, but it has been all for a great cause... So here is the story:

It all started when my husband and I have decided that we have finally outgrown our house- with three kids and me running a daycare business- it was time for us to find a home where each of our kids could have their own bedroom, but more importantly, keep our home our home, and my daycare seperate from our living space.  We also wanted a great neighbourhood to move into... we thought it would take awhile (at least a year, if not two) to find the perfect house... BUT once we started looking, we found one that was the perfect fit for our family.  That sent a whirlwind of events over the last two weeks which involved- moving the daycare back downstairs, painting and patching the entire house, upgrading, decluttering, finding some storage space, and literally SO much work!  Hopefully our hard work, and no sleep will pay off pretty fast and our house will fast :) Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Now that you know where I have been- I have lots to catch up on in the scrappy world, and lots to come this week too!  I thought I would start us off on my Canadian Scrapbooker Blog post today!  I have added a little challenge on their blog, and would love for you to come and play along! You can read about the post: HERE

Here is the layout that I created using one of my new favorite collections by CRATE PAPER!

Supplies used:  Crate Paper patterned paper, frames, clips, chipboard, stickers; Sharpie marker; Stampin’ Up! punch; Heartfelt Creations die; The Twinery twine; Scrapbook Adhesives EZ runner; unknown tissue paper.

I have some sneaks from some past layouts that were posted this past week too!  I will be posting them this week, so you will have lots of inspiration!
Yesterday was our FIRST really warm day in the daycare, and Taylor enjoyed every moment outside!

Such a great layout! It was fun reading what you've been up to also. How exciting! I'll pray your house sells quickly so you can get into the other home. I was doing the exact same thing a year ago--We ended up renting a pretty big storage unit to make our home look more like a model home (2/3 of my craft stuff went in there), but it totally worked and we received 3 offers in 3 days.

Can't wait to see your other full layouts too. My daughter has that same pink frog shirt. ;)

Jodi, Love our layout and so excited about your upcoming move... we just moved in December and it was a 700 mile trek... hopefully you aren't moving that far and to already have found a house you like ROCKS! Best wishes! Kathi
