It's ALMOST Valentines Day, but I know tomorrow is a busy day filled with activities with the kids and our last day with Taryn home, so we are going to be busy having FUN! I thought I would share some fun things that have been going on here in Luv-a-Lot Land!
Of course we have been busy preparing Valentines in the daycare and for my kids Valentines Day Parties today at School! I thought I would share a bit of what we have done!
I found some cute little boxes at the dollar store and then decorated them with Stamps of Life, heartlocket2love stamp . I used the December card kit too (LOVE their paper in their card kit! It coordinates so perfectly!)
I used the heart locket die has a tag and layered them with the smaller die cut heart. I used the same die cut heart to add to the heart lollipop. I stamped on the back (with the love stamp from the card kit!) with the word LOVE on it and then die cut little button hearts in red cardstock (tied with twine) and layered it on top of the lollipop heart.
I used the twine from the card kit to attache the locket to the treat boxes! The kids loved the treats and I loved how cute they looked (only the best for my daycare kiddos!)
Jordan LOVED the lollipops and decided to make some with me for her class! She picked the sentiment: Unlock your Smiles, which fit perfectly on the back of one of the lockets. For her valentines, we die cut and stamped two large lockets from cardstock, and placed the sentiment on the back. On the front of the lollipop we added another die cut heart with patterned paper from the December Card Kit. A cute little extra touch was adding a washi tape banner on the lollipops! SO easy to do!
I love how they turned out! I am sure the kids in her class will not appreciate them like I do, but Jordan and I had such fun creating them together!
The daycare has been filled with fun this week with lots of activities! We even had our annual photoshoot! Taylor was a hoot once again to take photos of:
These are not the best pictures... but you get the idea! Cute little Valentine Day Crafts in the Daycare!
So what's up for your Valentine's Day? Anything exciting????

Meeting the Easter Bunny!
I forgot to post this layout after the sneak peak ! I just realized this after cruising through my blog! OOPS! I absolutely LOVE this collection, and have many layouts planned for it! Who doesn't LOVE rainbows and springtime! Doodlebug knocked it out of the park with this collection, and it will be one I hoard in years to come! lol!
I had a hard time deciding whether or not I wanted to do a spring layout or an Easter layout! There is so many possibilities with this collection! I decided on an Easter layout because I LOVE the little bunnies, and I still haven't scrapped little Taylor meeting the Easter bunny last year:
I wanted to create a little scene with that cute little bunny and trees! I even added some Easter Eggs hidden in the grass:
I added the flower garland (LOVE!!!) and made a cute grid with the photos and other embellies:
In the top left hand corner I also made a little scene with the kites and the clouds and of course the cute little lamb holding the kite on one of the grids!
Are you getting ready for Easter? We have jumped into doing lots of cool crafts in the daycare! Yesterday we made cute little bunny hats. Taylor looks a little stunned...

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian followers! This weekend I didn't do much as my allergies hit me this weekend, like a ton of bricks. I am surprised I got the energy to get up and cook a turkey! It was a nice and quiet Thanksgiving, with my mom visiting us.
It was my turn on the Momenta Blog today! You will have to excuse "me" in the picture! Yes, I scrapped me, but only because I caught (what I thought) was a huge fish! It was all very exciting for me in the kids! The bad news, I was in my P.J's... and I didn't brush my hair... oh what a moment! Here is the layout:
You can see all the details of the layout on the Momenta Blog!
OUT FOR PUBLICATION
and in the Daycare....
This past week in the daycare, we have been talking about "GIVING THANKS", and what we are Thankful for... All the kids had such cute responses... usually it was mommy or daddy, or my sisters. We all learned how to gobble like a turkey, and of course the weather was sooooo nice we played outside as much as we could!
Another new cutie started over the last couple of week! Lily is such a sweet and happy girl! Here is her crafting away:
With the nice weather lately, Taylor has been running herself silly outside, and when we come in for lunch, she falls asleep, almost immediately:
This week in the daycare we will be learning about SEASONS!
