Little Red Wagon Challenge #241: Teacher Appreciation

Happy Wednesday Folks!  Its reveal day on the Little Red Wagon Challenge blog, and today's challenge is brought to you by ME!... The challenge is to create a teacher appreciation card or project since its near the end of school (at least in my neck of the woods!)

For this challenge I decided to go a little non traditional, since I always seem to create your typical apple, school supply card. I wanted a pretty thank you card to make instead! I was lucky enough to acquire some AMAZING new IZINKS from Clearsnap... and let me tell you.... I LOVE THEM!!! I started the card by adding a few drops of the three colours and then blending them together with a bit of water and paintbrush. I allowed to dry and then added THE MOST AMAZING STAMP EVER... yes this butterfly is SUPER COOL, and I can see me using it on a variety of projects! Thank you Stampin' Up!  (the sentiment is also from Stampin' Up!).  So here is the card I made:

I hope you have time to play and link up on the blog for a chance to be FEATURED this week! Don't forget to visit the girlfriends blog for more inspiration!  Talk to ya all real soon!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #239

I have to say I can't believe it's Wednesday! I have had perfect intentions of pre blogging all my posts, but of course as you can I didn't!  For some reason, blogging has really taken a backburner these days, but I have completed the challenge at the Little Red Wagon Challenge Blog, and I am excited to share my take on the Bows and Buttons Challenge.

I have been hoarding these adorable burlap bows for awhile, so I knew I wanted to use them on my card... I dug into my Jillibean Soup stash to create this card and of course used one of their buttons to complete the challenge:

I used a spellbinders die to create the kite too!  So are you looking to play along with us this week? Be sure to check out the girlfriends blogs for more inspiration, and of course use the Mr. Linky at the bottom of the Little Red Wagon to link up your take on the challenge... you just may even be featured this week!

Here is what I created:

I love this birthday line: Hip Hip Hooray by Doodlebug Design! It is so super cute and so clever! Little Red Wagon Challenge #231

Hi Everyone! It's Wednesday so its Little Red Wagon Challenge day! YIPPEE!!! Today's challenge is to create a masculine card! Well, I don't have a lot of masculine paper/embellies, as I tend to buy everything that is cutesy, but I dug up some old Simple Stories that I remembering I had, and here is what I cam up with:

I loved the treebark hearts that I have been holding on to, and thought that even though its a hear... being made out of a "tree" makes it a total masculine embellie, don't you think?

Are you going to play along with us this week? If you do be sure to check out the Girlfriends creations and link up your creation on the Little Red Wagon BLOG.

Finally, Have you had a chance to check out PAGE MAPS for this month?? The Bella Blvd Design Team gals have teamed up to create some layouts with this month's sketches! Be sure to check it out (my layout is the double layout!) I will post of layout tomorrow on my blog here... for now, here is a sneak peak:

Little Red Wagon Challenge #230

It's Wednesday again which means, its time for a LITTLE RED WAGON challenge! Now, I have to admit, we are allowed to "work ahead" a bit on the challenges, and being so busy, I completely messed up, and thought it was a different challenge for this week! No need to fear! I whipped up a card in under 15 minutes! Yep, I think a new record for me!

The challenge this week is BLING IT UP!  Now I am not the hugest BLING fan, but I do link a little sparkle every now and then! For this card I used some bling ribbon and adhered it to a piece of cardstock. I then took the same sized piece of cardstock and punched three hearts in the cardstock (all in a row) I then adhereed this piece overtop off the blinged up cardstock! The result-some very blinged out hearts! I added a sentiment and created my card base and Voila!  A blinged up card:

We would love for you to come a play along with us at the Little Red Wagon! Just link up on the blog and be sure to come around to the Girlfriends Blog for more inspiration!

Little Red Wagon #227

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today is Little Red Wagon Challenge Day! Today's Challenge was to use PUNCHES on a card! I really wanted to use my punches so they were the "star"of the card... I also wanted to use a punch that I do not usually use to much of.... and I came up with this (and sorry for the poor photo, as it was all a bit of a rush this week to get it done with being sick and away the last two weekends!)

I took the card base and did some stamping and then added the sentiment with a circle dot stamp around it! THEN it was time to add the punches! I love my arrow punches but I find I don't use them enough! I popped some up and left some flat for extra fun!

I hope you have time to play with us this week! Be sure to stop by the Little Red Wagon Blog for all the fun!

Little Red Wagon #226

Spring is the air???!! Oh gosh, I hope so! I have had enough of winter!! This week with the Little Red Wagon, our challenge is create a card with Spring Colours!

I love the new Imaginisce Collection, and decided to play around with it! I kept the card pretty simple, but I couldn't resist using that adorable little bunny!

The bow was made from a die and the stamp is from Technique Tuesday! I think the bright card base really calls out for Spring!  Be sure to stop by the Little Red Wagon Blog for more inspiration and we hope you play along!

Little Red Wagon #225 & Imaginisce Scraplift!

Hi everyone! Today is Wednesday... BUT its a special day because I have one layout with TWO reveals (yep got lucky!)...  On the Little Red Wagon Blog today is the challenge to create ANYTHING but a card (lol...) so for me, this was a snap, since I pretty much create layouts ALL the time, right?!   It just so happened, that today I am also up on the Imaginisce Blog with a SCRAPLIFT layout! We were asked to scraplift someone on the the team.... So here is the layout I created:

I decided to scraplift Becki Adams (a big fan of her!)  Here is the layout I lifted:

I thought I did a pretty good job "lifting it!" I loved the title and the theme, so I stuck with that, and added a few embellies... Some close ups:

So for all the LITTLE RED WAGON fans out there, be sure to LINK UP your other than a card creation with MR. LINKY at the Little Red Wagon Blog!  I can't wait to see what you create... (and Becki... thanks for the lift!)

Little Red Wagon #223

It's little Red Wagon Wednesday Reveal day with a challenge by me today!  Since Valentines day is just around the corner, I thought making a LOVE card would be perfect!  Here is the card I made:

This is my most FAVOURITE Valenintes Line by Doodlebug Design! I simply LOVE it so much! I used the stamp and die cut set from Doodlebug and Sizzix to create the cupcake.  This is the first time I have stamped and die cut... and it was super easy! Might become addicted to this! I embellished the cupcake with some pearl hearts from Doodlebug too!

Hope you have time to come play with us this month too!

Little Red Wagon #222

Welcome back Wednesday! Time to show you what I created for todays challenge at the Little Red Wagon!  Today's Challenge was to create a card... for a child! LOVED this challenge... yep finally found one to be easy... the hardest part was decided what paper that I have been hoarding for years that I was going to cut up! lol! I decided on a very old, but very fun Bella Blvd line:

Do you remember this line?  I LOVED this dinosaur! So I used The Alley Way Stamps: Framed, to create the framed on the layout.. I layered then with lots of fun elements and then stamped the speech bubble (also The Alley Way Stamps).  Here's another view:

Hope you have time to play along with use this month! Come on over to the Little Red Wagon Blog for all the details!

Little Red Wagon #221

Well it's Wednesday, which means its reveal day for the Little Red Wagon.  So today's challenge was a hard one for me (I think all of them are! lol!)... A clean and simple card should be easy, but for me I love to add and add, and keep on adding... I love LOTS of thinks on my crafty projects so for me this was hard... and I actually created a few cards, until I settled on this one:

I know... it is VERY simple! But I actually REALLY like it! I think the fact that the Core'dinations Spotted Cardstock adds just enough textures. Plus I am sucker for bright and fun colours!

I stamped the sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps on Vellum, and added it to the bottom right hand corner!

I hope you have time to play along with us at The Little Red Wagon... Come on over to see more inspiration from the Design Team:HERE>
